What we do
We offer holistic midwifery care through out a woman's journey starting in the teenage years on past menopause
Holistically Guided pregnancyPrenatal visits are designed to guide you through the developmental stages of your baby as well as the changes your body is going through. Your first prenatal visit is 1 hour long. We take the time to address your personal physical and emotional needs to ensure that your prenatal experience is one that you'll enjoy. You will receive a folder that contains all of the information you will need to make your pregnancy as smooth as possible. You will also receive a slip to have your prenatal lab work done. Services are always addressed holistically in an individualized fashion, as we discuss nutrition, exercise as well as discussing your stress level or any other issue that is weighing on your mind. |
Labor and birthThe vast majority of women have normal uncomplicated pregnancies, normal vaginal births, and breastfeed with just a little instruction. The beauty of a home birth, both in water or "on land" is that you are able to create the birth of your dreams. You are surrounded by those whom you choose, you are able to eat and drink and move as your body tells you. Creating an atmosphere of calm and peace is an intrinsic part of birth that is lacking in the mainstream. For most healthy women, birth is not something to be feared, it is a rite of passage, something to be celebrated! |
Postpartum and newborn careTo ensure that you receive the best possible care for you and your newborn baby, we stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide support, assist with breastfeeding, and answer any questions you may have. All of these services are provided to you in the comfort of your home. Our goal is to stay connected with you for a healthy development of both your baby as well as you as a parent. |

POCUS (Point of Care Ultrasound)
In our small midwifery practice, we are excited to introduce the use of POCUS ultrasound as a new tool to enhance the care we provide to our community. By incorporating this technology, we can now perform in-house ultrasounds, reducing the need for referrals and minimizing the waiting time for our patients. This means expectant mothers can receive timely and comprehensive evaluations without the inconvenience of traveling to a separate facility. Additionally, POCUS ultrasound allows us to offer more personalized care by closely monitoring fetal development, assessing placental position, and identifying any potential concerns in real-time. This enables us to intervene early if necessary and ensure the well-being of both mother and baby. By embracing this innovative technology, we believe we can greatly enhance the quality and accessibility of our services for our community, providing expectant families with a higher level of care and peace of mind throughout their pregnancy journey.
